Originally conceived in 1967 by Angelo Mangiarotti, the Giogali Ceiling Light derives both its name and shape from the Italian word giongher, referring to the rope used to tie a horse or ox-driven cart to the yoke. The fixture is composed of a multitude of small, rope-like crystal hooks, which are linked together to form a net of glistening glass. The crystal is draped around the light's frame, obscuring the light source and creating a gleaming cascade of light. With its delicate and glamorous aesthetic, Giogali will enhance any interior with an elegant sparkle.
Note: Due to the weight of the fixture, the 31 inch diameter ceiling light requires additional ceiling support. The 16 and 31 inch diameter fixtures are only available in Chrome with White, Black, or Transparent glass.
